Enrollment

Once you are ready to enroll your child with us, please set up an appointment so we can best assist you. We will be glad to take the time to inform you about everything you need to know, including the relevant paperwork. Illness

Little children often get sick. You should keep your child at home throughout the duration of the illness so as to expedite the healing process and avoid getting the other children sick. When your child is ready to return to day care, we would appreciate a note from their doctor indicating that they are free from contagions.

Visit

Parents are always welcome to visit their children at the school and may do so at any time during the day.

Meals

The school provides a morning snack, balanced lunch, and nutritious afternoon snack, prepared and catered in compliance with federal and state regulations. Monthly menus are shared with parents. We ensure healthy, child-friendly meals to support growth and learning.

Dietary Concerns

We understand many children have dietary restrictions due to allergies, religious beliefs and/or personal preferences. Should you wish to limit or forbid certain food items for any reason, please notify us beforehand and we will ensure that no offensive food item is served to your child.

Community Care Licensing

The Department of Licensing may inspect records, interview staff or children, and observe or medically examine children to ensure safety and detect possible abuse or neglect. These measures help protect children’s well-being, ensure quality care, and maintain full compliance with state regulations.

Deepti Goomer

As the Executive Director of Goomer Academy, Deepti spearheads the development and implementation of all educational and administrative programs. Her extensive responsibilities include managing parent relations, overseeing human resources, facilitating training and leadership development, and ensuring overall quality assurance.

Deepti holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from Shivaji University, India, and a Program Director Permit from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. She began her professional journey as a Research Scientist with the Indian Department of Defence. However, the birth of her second daughter ignited a profound passion for child development, prompting her to pursue formal education in the field and transition her career. In 2006, Deepti obtained a license for Large Family Daycare and started operating from her home. Her unwavering dedication to early childhood education led to the establishment of Goomer Academy in 2011.

Building a brighter future by providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment along with a thoughtfully designed curriculum that promotes the holistic development of every child. We focus on nurturing physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth, encouraging creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning. Our goal is to help children develop confidence, strong values, and essential life skills, laying the foundation for lifelong success and happiness.
